Refund Processing Timeline
- Standard Refund Period: Refunds will be processed within 14 working days from the date of approval of your cancellation request.
- Eligibility Confirmation: Refund processing begins only after the submission and verification of all required documents.
Eligibility for Refund
A refund will be issued if:
- The cancellation request is made no later than one day prior to the scheduled start date of the trip.
- The policyholder has not made any claims under the policy.
- Valid documentation is provided, such as:
- Visa rejection letter (if applicable).
- Proof of non-travel (e.g., passport copy).
- Evidence supporting unforeseen circumstances leading to trip cancellation.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
No refunds will be provided in the following cases:
- If the cancellation request is made on or after the trip’s scheduled start date.
- If the traveller voluntarily decides not to travel without valid reasons covered under the policy.
- If a claim has already been made under the policy.
- If cancellation conditions specified in the policy are not met.
Refund Process
- Submission of Request: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our designated customer service portal, along with all required documentation.
- Verification: Our team will verify the submitted documents and assess eligibility for a refund.
- Approval and Processing: Once approved, the refund will be initiated, and the amount will be credited to the original mode of payment within 14 working days.
Nominal Deduction
A nominal administrative fee, inclusive of applicable service taxes, will be deducted from the refunded amount. This fee varies based on the specific policy terms.
